Declare forfeited vehicles as surplus property.
Policy/Action Requested:
Declare two forfeited vehicles as surplus property and authorize disposal.
Recommendation:

Approve policy/action as requested.

Discussion:

The vehicles were obtained through the forfeiture proceedings and are described as follows:

1. 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, VIN: 1GCEK19V97Z186681

2. 2008 Jeep Liberty, VIN: 1J8GN28K08W194726

 

The vehicles suitable for resale will be sold at auction and the proceeds, if any, will be distributed according to Minnesota State Statute.  The vehicles unsuitable for sale will be junked.
