At its March 21, 2023 meeting, Council approved the application to the MN DNR’s Outdoor Recreation grant. The Outdoor Recreation grant will provide a portion of the funding needed to develop the riverfront marina into usable park space and add river access for non-motorized personal watercraft. The entirety of the Sweeney’s Marina Park project will cost approximately $1,365,000, and the DNR Outdoor Recreation grant will provide $350,000. | | |
