The Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency & Conservation Block Grant program provides funding to municipalities and counties to implement strategies to reduce fossil fuels, reduce the total energy use of the applicant’s entities, improve energy efficiencies, and build a clean and equitable energy economy. Within this block grant, the Department of Energy has calculated available funds to municipalities and counties across the United States, allocating $76,550 available for the City of Shakopee to apply for. | | |
