Approve a Temporary Liquor License for the City of Shakopee Tap 2023 Event.
Policy/Action Requested:
Approve a temporary liquor license for the City of Shakopee Tap 2023 event being held September 9, 2023. 
Recommendation:
Approve the above requested motion.
Discussion:

The City of Shakopee has applied for a temporary on sale liquor license for the Tap 2023 event taking place on September 9, 2023. The event will be held in the Lewis Street parking lot from 12:00pm - 4:00pm. 

 

The event will include 44 Minnesota breweries serving 5 ounce samples. Two Shakopee Police Officers will be present, and the MN School of Bartending has been contracted to check identification. Tickets for the event are advance purchase only.

 

The fee has been paid, and the application is in order.
