The EDA will enter into a short term lease with Doggie Doos for the properpty at 321 First Avenue West, Shakopee 
Policy/Action Requested:
Resolution No. E2018-007 for a short term lease with Doggie Doos
Recommendation:
Approve Resolution No. E2018-007
Discussion:

The EDA will be acquiring the building that currently is leased by Doggie Doos.  Upon acquisition, the EDA is terminating the current lease and will have a short term lease with Doggie Doos while they construct a new building.  Rent will be $3,000 a month and approximately $1,000 for taxes.

 

Tenant is responsible for everything and will name the City and the EDA as additional insured on its insurance policies..

Budget Impact:
Lease revenues will be to the EDA and the tenant will also pay property taxes and all building maintenance and expenses.
