Discussion:
On October 3, 2023 the City Council approved the decertification of TIF District #10 earlier than the required decertification date of 12/31/2024.
The district was established for the River City Centre project which was completed in conjunction with the Scott County CDA and included 52-units of senior rental housing, retail, and public plaza and parking facility.
The balance of $19,225.82, which was considered excess tax increment was returned to the County for re-distribution, leaving no remaining balance in the fund therefore the fund can be closed.
