The City of Shakopee has been honored by USA Softball's as 2023 "Complex of the Year" for Tahpah Park.

Shakopee hosted a remarkable USA Softball Tournament in August at Tahpah Park headed up by Dave Pass of Shakopee Lions and Tim Zunker of the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce.  The tournament was recognized by USA Softball as on of the top two tournaments in the USA for 2023, and they received an award for that honor.  USA Softball recognized the complex as their "Complex of the Year" for 2023.

Staff recommend that the Mayor and City Council accept the award.
