The city hired Citygate Associates, LLC (Citygate) to conduct a comprehensive Fire Department Services Evaluation to provide guidance on organizational/deployment minimum requirements and provide recommendations for future deployment and performance analysis. 

Citygate conducted an in-depth analysis of the organization with these themes arising from their research: 

Challenges:

1) Management culture lacking accountability and quality control

2) Adherence to safety and standards 

3) Need for adequate staffing and deployment

Positives:

1) Desire for effective leadership among staff

2) Improvements embraced and already underway

3)  Strong support to reboot culture and programs

Citygate will present their report as well as provide recommendations for City Council consideration.
