| | | | | | | | Discussion:
FEMA’s AFG program provides funding to Fire Departments, Non-affiliated EMS organizations, and State Fire Training Academies to enhance the safety of firefighters, and therefore the public. In doing so, they provide critically needed resources that equip and train emergency personnel to recognized standards, enhance operational efficiencies, foster interoperability, and support community resilience. The City of Shakopee is requesting approximately $75,000 in funding to purchase EMS equipment used by the Fire Department when responding to emergency medical calls. | | |
