At its January 16, 2024 meeting, Council approved the application to the MN DPS PTP grant. The PTP program covers the cost of a candidate’s tuition, book, equipment, and uniform costs as well as their salary until the candidate successfully passes the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) exam. | | |
