City Code Section 130.45 restricts the hours of construction operation from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends and holidays.

Contractors working on the County Road 101/Shenandoah Traffic Signal Improvement Project project have requested that the city extend working hours to begin work at 6 a.m. Monday through Saturday mornings through the end of October 2024. This request is only for work taking place at the intersection of County Road 101 and Shenandoah Drive.

This extension will help meet the project deadlines as we approach the end of the construction season. If property or business owner complaints are received by the City, the ordinance suspension can be revoked at the discretion of the City Engineer.

With Council's approval, a public news release and notice would be placed in the New Prague Times and on the City's website to meet the City Code requirements .
