Discussion:

Councilor Luce has made a request to be reimbursed for his self-determined travel expenses as part of his investigative efforts of future housing developments. Staff does not have the authority to approve non-Council sanctioned, self-directed travel expenses of Council members.

 

The reimbursement would cover travel to the following:

  • 225 Mill St., Excelsior
  • 11333 Fairfield Rd., Minnetonka
  • 1907 Klein St., St. Peter,
  • 1175 Nininger Rd., Hastings

 

Travel appears to have taken place between March 26th and April 6th.

 

If Council does approve, I would recommend any future travel be pre-approved by Council.

Budget Impact:
Any budgetary impact would be covered by the Council budget.
