This item was tabled at the May 15 council meeting until council received more information from the managers of Muddy Cow concerning the gambling activities at their restaurant. An informational letter is attached. 

The Northstar Search & Rescue is applying for a premises permit for gambling activities at the Muddy Cow located at 1244 Canterbury Road. The permit will ultimately be issued by the State Gambling Control Board. When application is made, the board requires that the local unit of government pass a resolution specifically approving or denying the application.
