The city is proposing the creation of a Tax Increment Financing District for a Redevelopment Area from Scott Street to Atwood between Levee Drive and First Avenue. The District does not include three parcels at the corner of First Avenue and Atwood. |

The 2030 Comprehensive Plan promotes redevelopment in the Central Business District. This area was proposed for higher density housing. The city has received a redevelopment proposal that would be in compliance with the plan.
